Sources confirm to me exclusively that Cuthbert has inked a deal to reprise her role as Jack's lightning rod of an offspring for a season-ending arc that will no doubt trigger a new round of wholly outdated and painfully unfunny cougar jokes. Per my 24 mole, Kim will return minus her old beau (sorry, C. Thomas Howell) and plus a child! That's right, Kim's got a little puma all her own!

E-News says that inside sources at 24 say there are no plans to bring back the Kim character this season.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Elisha's going to be starring in a new television series on CBS!

Elisha Cuthbert is returning to television as the female lead in CBS' one-hour pilot "Ny-Lon."
Also cast in the ABC Studios-produced adaptation of the British series are Caterina Scorsone and Johnny Whitworth.
"Ny-Lon" centers on Edie (Cuthbert), a New York literacy teacher/record store clerk, and Michael, a London stock broker, who embark on a cross-continental romance.
Scorsone ("1-800-Missing") will play Edie's roommate, a slutty, bohemian rocker. Whitworth ("CSI: Miami") will play Edie's rocker ex-boyfriend.
After her breakthrough role on Fox's "24," Cuthbert had focused on movies. Her upcoming features include "My Sassy Girl" and "The Six Lives of Henry Lefay." Cuthbert is repped by Gersh and manager John Carrabino.

A new release date for Captivity has just been announced. It is now scheduled for Friday July 13th.

I guess everybody knows Elisha Cuthbert is dating Sean Avery after she called her engagement with Trace Ayala off. There were many interviews where she stated out that she doesn't want to rush anything but lately the rumors around her indicate that she is ready to get settled with Avery. Officially on E-Talk her representatives denied that but gossip websites show otherwise. The most interesting part is that one of the sites is a sport gossip one and the thing looks as if it was really serious. The only thing that we can do now is just wait. There has to be some kind of an interview in the near future that would certainly make our minds at ease.

The film that is a completely new thing for Elisha Cuthbert, He was a quiet man, because she is playing a paraplegic had finally got its website up and running and of course the release date was set for late September. So if you have a spare minute check the SITE out.

Newport is a great festival and has presented many acclaimed films such as Layer Cake, Sexy Beast, Dogtown, and last year's Academy Award winning Best Picture CRASH. We're honored to be in the festival this year which runs from April 19 - 29. Since it's only an hour from LA and is ON THE BEACH, we hope to get many of our future fans out to seet the film in a great theater and have some fun in the sun.

"He Was A Quiet Man " will be presented in Texas at the South Southwest film festival (SXSW) on March 11th. It's a low-budget movie and it's a great opportunity to make itself known.

Hi everyone - sorry it's taken so long to get back here but that's the life and times of independent filmmaking. Without a studio behind you or the money of a small country, getting a film done with 130 FX shots and a staff of two in 10 months is pretty tough. But I'm happy to say that as of yesterday - I'm done. Whew...

So on that note - I am proud to announce that we will be premiering in Austin Texas at the South Southwest film festival (SXSW) on March 11th. Rumor is it's the most fun festival of the top 5 so we're all looking forward to the experience. Many of the cast will be on hand, including Christian and Elisha as well as the ever sparkling Sascha Knopf, the bigger-than-life John Guligar along with 24's newest agent Jamison Jones and singer songwriter sensation Anzu. Of course if Bill (William H. Macy) can pull away from that film of his - we'd love to see him!

This will be the very first public screening of He Was A Quiet Man and to say I'm a bit excited - and nervous - is well... understated. Whatever the outcome I am very proud of what we've all accomplished and can't wait to spring this little puppy loose into the world. If you're planning to go the SXSW festival, make sure you come by and take a look. We'd love to have you. If not - stay tuned...

Jesse Bradford Gears Up For My Sassy Girl

Jesse Bradford is set to star in the romantic comedy, My Sassy Girl for Gold Circle.

Elisha Cuthbert is already part of the cast, which is a remake of the South Korean hit film; Yann Samuell is directing this version. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it tells the story of a small-town guy from the Midwest who thought he had his entire life mapped out until he falls for a reckless, brazen girl who turns his life upside down.

Shooting for My Sassy Girl will start in early November in New York.

Outside of Hyde nightclub in Hollywood, one autograph hunter was denied the "24" star's John Hancock because his picture was not to her liking -- it was semi-nude and out of date.

The autograph seeker defended himself to the blonde vixen as she made her way out of the club saying, "Last week you said the other photos were ugly so I made that one photo, I didn't know."

"If you're gonna sell 'em, I want them to be good," Cuthbert shot back, "That was 'The Girl Next Door', it's been a few years now."

The autograph hunter went a step further, joking he'd bring a contact sheet next time so she could pick the photos she'd sign, to which Cuthbert replied, "Yeah, we'll set up a meeting."

Speaking of misleading marketing: many of you have written in to ask whether there are any lesbian characters or content in the upcoming movie The Quiet--a dark drama starring Elisha Cuthbert, Edie Falco, and Camilla Bell--because the poster and the ads feature Cuthbert whispering provocatively about "secrets" into the ear of another girl. The answer is no, according to those I've asked who've seen the movie--although it is directed by an out lesbian (Jamie Babbitt) and features the object of many a lesbian's crush (Elisha Cuthbert). But if we went by that criteria, Angela Robinson's Herbie Fully Loaded would be a lesbian movie, too, since I've heard there are still some lesbians who find Lindsay Lohan attractive (which I don't understand, but never mind).

While promoting The Quiet, 24's Elisha Cuthbert told SCI FI Wire the story behind her involvement with Cat Tale, a role she landed thanks to her voicework on the 24 video game. "They said, 'You've got a great voice, and we'd love to use you for an animated cartoon. It wouldn't take up a lot of your time. If you'd be interested, could we use your voice?' I said, 'Why not? If I can come in in my pajamas, I'll show up.'" Cat Tale will enter cinemas in 2008.
